The OIA can provide the links to help the campus community improve teaching practices.  We do this not only by making OIA consultants available but now also by making UofA faculty available to share their experiences and expertise.

Our new Speakers Bureau service lets us match you up with a faculty who has practiced a teaching strategy and perfected it.  They can provide a consult to one person or speak to a group, which ever is most appropriate for the best results.

This three day workshop on June 5-7, 2012 is a great opportunity to increase your skills in the development and implementation of service learning courses that focus on the elimination of health disparities. Service learning is a very effective mechanism for understanding health disparity and health equity  issues and moving to action to eliminate these inequities.
