Mon, 2011-10-17 12:03 — gforger
With the creation of the Online Education Project (details below) the OIA is reaching out to campus to expand our capabilities and increase campus’ capacity to provide effective instruction. Towards this end, new opportunities at the OIA have presented themselves. Check these out and pass them on to anyone that might find them of interest.
The Online Education Project (OEP) will improve campus capacity for excellence in teaching and learning within fully online or hybrid course environments and to create additional content available to off-campus students. These goals are important in maximizing the available time, space, and resources that students, faculty, and the university have available for accomplishing our educational objectives. This project will result in a support infrastructure for high quality course development, best practices in fully online and hybrid course instruction and successful learning practices for students in fully online and hybrid courses.
