Each participant in this OIA Online Mini-course will:
- have an experiential "taste" of taking an online course
- get acquainedt with guidelines and standards for the design of online courses
- consider how assessment and engagement affect the quality of an online course
- envision potential opportunities and advantages -- as well as challenges -- to learning and teaching in an online environment
