1. Who can utilize the technology services and resources of LTS?
Our instructionally related services are provided for faculty members, graduate
teaching assistants and research assistants. Others who are in the process
of helping faculty members in an instructional capacity are also eligible
to use our services. Our “fee-based” services for campus administrative
departments, ranging from graphic/web design to programming and audio video
projects, are priced on a per project basis after initial consultation has
taken place.

3. Who can help me with a specific service within
LTS?
You can either call LTS at 520.626.2621, contact us
with your question or complete a Service
Request Form for the area in which you need assistance.

4. Where can I get help with my laptop computer?
We cannot help to service laptops and other computer hardware but
you can receive help at the “Computer Store” at the UA
Campus Bookstore.

5. How does LTS charge for services?
Projects related directly to instruction are provided free of charge
as part of LTS’s mission to serve the university. Pricing for
projects that are non-instructional or administrative, vary depending
on the specific project parameters and timing. Contact us
for more information and for a consultation on pricing for your specific
project.
Our Media Services group provides its own pricing for the services they offer.
We accept a variety of payment methods.
Cash - Please attempt to pay in the exact amount for small jobs
Checks - Make checks payable to Learning Technology Services
Interdepartmental Billing Forms (IBF) - When paying via an IBF,
the responsible department will be given an LTS Invoice to complete.

6. How do I set up a web site for my class?
If your department or college does not have the resources available
to create and house a URL for your instructional website, complete a Service Request Form.

7. How can I get help with D2L?
Visit the D2L help pages to obtain help with D2L by accessing our online
tutorials which are available in document or video format.
If you require further assistance please complete a Report
a Problem form.

8. What technology training is available through LTS?
There are several training opportunities available through LTS and also through our Learning Technology Partner, OSCR
(Office of Student Computing Resources). Information on training
for D2L can be found at our D2L Instructor page. The Multimedia Learning Lab, as part of OSCR,
offers a variety of hands on tutorials on equipment and multimedia software packages. Students, staff
and faculty can also take advantage of software training offered
through UACBT.

9. I’ve heard that there is Grant support available through
LTS. What does this include?
LTS staff can assist you in gathering information and/or writing or submitting a grant focusing on the integration of instructional technology and includes funding for LTS support. For more information please contact LTS.
