Friends of Learning Technologies
In today’s complicated educational environment, access to resources and support are essential for success. Interaction with friends and colleagues makes a huge difference as we strive to accomplish our goals.
You can be a friend of Learning Technologies.
Learning Technology Services provides The University of Arizona campus and the greater learning community with many opportunities to use exciting innovations in teaching technology. As technology rapidly changes, we stay at the forefront of emerging and advanced tools for instruction.
Virtual spaces, interactive websites, games that teach, social networking, easily accessible audio and video streaming, open source software creation — these are just a few of the innovative services that we provide to our constituencies.
Remaining successful and viable in education today requires teamwork and
an organized, focused effort on community and capacity building. The LTS
has a variety of ways in
which you can be involved in furthering our mission.
You have the opportunity to support our continuing innovation and service our community.
You can:
- Underwrite the support of a specific project or initiative
- Create a named workstation that meets a specific need of the campus
- Support a faculty fellow at the LTS
- Provide funds for general support of the center
- Donate equipment or other services to be used by the LTS
Of course we are open to other creative ways that the LTS can be supported by our friends. Please let us know (PDF) your own ideas on how you’d like to be involved.
