Skin Cancer: Learn to Spot It Early
This video production began in the spring of 2008 and was combined effort with Arizona Cancer Center, College of Nursing and the Office of Instruction and Assessment. Lois Loescher from the College of Nursing was the principal investigator related study and project lead for the video. The video production lasted about ten months. Production included scriptwriting, storyboarding, videotaping, video editing, motion graphics, audio mixing and DVD creation. This resulted with a 13-minute video that went on to win a national award, the 2009 Gold Triangle Award from the American Academy of Dermatology in the health and community organization category.
The OIA staff involved with this project was Heather Lares as producer, co-director and graphics; Tony Gallego as co-director, videographer, and editor; Veronica Rodriguez as videographer; and LuisCarlos Davis as videographer.
