3. Does a blog's access have to be open for everyone to read it?
We put code in the blog’s main template prevents it from being indexed by Google and other search engines. That has been successful in keeping spammers and other unwanted attention. We can also set the blog up so that before displaying the blog’s homepage in a Web browser, you have to log in first through the UA’s WebAuth authentication system.

4. How hard is to use a blog?
Blogs are easy to use. To create a blog entry you only need to log in and type the entry in a standard HTML form. You do not need to know any HTML. When you save the entry, it is published to the blog. There are also illustrated guides and Flash movies showing step-by-step instructions.

An LTS consultant will be glad to meet with you one-to-one to review how to use the blog to its full capabilities. An LTS consultant is also available to give your students an overview during a class meeting.
