Scientific Visualization Facilities

The Scientific Visualization facility hosts two high-end graphics workstations with large amounts of disk space and memory. These machines can be accessed remotely through the use of Visual Area Networking (VAN) software called Vizserver.

• 4 300-MHz IP27 processors
• 5 GB system RAM
• Graphics board is "KONAL" graphics
• 64MB texture memory
• Video Output: 1920 pixels, 1200 lines, 66.00Hz
• 24-inch SuperWide, ultra high-resolution monitor
