There are various ways to get to the U of A from the airport. There are all kinds of shuttles, Uber/Lyft, cabs, and buses (SunTran) you can take. More info is listed here:
From S Tucson Blvd, head onto E Benson Hwy
Turn right onto S Campbell Ave/Kino Pkwy and keep left to stay on S Kino Pkwy
Continue onto N Campbell Ave and turn left onto E 6th St
And arrive at the University of Arizona
**One can also use any GPS app to find their way to the University of Arizona**
Once arriving at the University, you will enter our Main Gate and have the view of the Old Main Fountain and building. Old Main was the original campus building dating back to 1891.

Resources Available for the Public
All parking at the U of A charges parking for visitors. We have multiple garages and street parking that visitors can use. There are also options of taking the Sun Link Streetcar and Cat Tran to get to different parts of the campus and Tucson. The fares for the Sun Link Streetcar have been waived until December 31, 2022. Broadway in Tucson
Centennial Hall, just right inside the University’s Main Gate is home to some of the best musicals on Broadway! Make sure to check if there are any shows currently going on.
Main Gate Square
Main Gate Square, AKA University Blvd is home to food, music, and entertainment. Located right across the Main Gate, you have an entire selection of endless things to do! Take a nice stroll during the evening or night to take in the lights and atmosphere. Or you can go ahead and walk into some bars, shop around, eat at a local-owned restaurant, and enjoy the nightlife.
Hiking Mt. Lemmon
Mt. Lemmon is a popular hiking spot. If you love being outdoors and an amazing view, this is the spot for you! Within the area, there are also other activities to do, other than hiking. Some of these things include rock climbing, skiing, and more. Check out the website for more details.
